About the project
Our family Christmas parties have been running since 2009. Our aim is to bring some Christmas joy and community spirit to families at what is a stressful and financially difficult time of the year for many of them. We run 4 parties with each catering for 120 children plus adults.
Children play traditional games led by Santa’s Elf’s. Families visit Santa in his grotto and get a personalised present and souvenir photo. Snack boxes are provided for children and complimentary refreshments for adults. Books are given away for free to promote reading and we even supply and fit batteries to any toy which requires them (a batteries included event!). Most attendees are given free entry to ensure the events are affordable for all.
To date we have catered for around 5,400 children and their families at Christmas.
